And so that we would know for sure that we are his true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our hearts—moving us to cry out intimately, “My Father! You’re our true Father!”
Galatians 4:6 (TPT)
Don’t know God based on principles; know Him based on relationship.
In the Garden of Eden, Adam wasn’t walking with God based on principles; he had fellowship with Him.
God is a person; He’s not physics or chemistry, so you don’t need a formula to relate with Him.
You don’t and can’t manipulate God, and there are no mechanics to relating with Him.
If He wanted things mechanical, He wouldn’t have come in the person of Jesus.
Jesus Christ was the unseen God revealed, so we can understand God’s personality and character by looking at Jesus; there’s no mystery to it.
The disciples walked with Him without protocol. John leaned on Him and even Peter rebuked Him in ignorance.
If you believe God is your Father, then there is no reason to try to manipulate Him with principles.
Children don’t operate principles to eat at their father’s house, nor do they manipulate their fathers to meet their needs.
Principles are for outsiders; insiders talk relationship
Have you seen the children of a president trying to reach their father? They break protocol.
Outsiders need to go through protocol to see the president, but not the children of the president.
They call Him Daddy and not Mr. President.
We reverence and honor Him as God, but when it comes to relating, we talk to Him like our father.
As a Christian, how can you be trying to reach God when He lives in you?
Don’t be deceived into thinking that you need to enter certain dimensions to reach God; He lives in you.
He is your father, the one who gave you life, protects you, and takes care of you.
Talk to Him. He’s a person.
Talk to Him in the language you are comfortable with; He doesn’t speak “King James English.”
When you know Him for yourself, no one will be able to tell you about the one you know.
Talk to Him, build a relationship with Him.
You don’t need any protocols.
